First glimpse of Ram Lalla Unveiled

The Ayodhya Ram Temple’s Lord Ram idol, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, was revealed ahead of Monday’s consecration ceremony on Friday.

Depicting Lord Ram as a five-year-old, the 51-inch black stone idol stands with a golden bow and arrow. Unveiled over two days, initial photos showed the idol covered, then only the eyes, culminating in the full reveal in the afternoon. PM Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and dignitaries including Mukesh Ambani and Amitabh Bachchan will attend the inauguration.

Rituals began on January 12, with PM Modi set to perform the “Pran Pratistha” on January 22. Several states declare a half-day or holiday.
